If the worst does happen, and you are involved in an accident, you'll receive a courtesy car when your vehicle is being fixed by one of our approved repairers. Prudential will also guarantee all repairs for five years. (Third Party Only policies are excluded.)
If you own a car that's less than 12 months from the date of manufacture and it suffers substantial damage in an accident, Prudential will replace it - like for like. The only provision is that repair work must cost more than 60% of the car's total UK list price (including taxes).
This guarantee also applies to stolen vehicles, provided the old car cannot be found. New for old cover is only available on Comprehensive cover policies.
If you make a claim for an accident that's not your fault and the other driver is uninsured, you won't lose your No Claims Discount, plus Prudential will cover any excess. Their uninsured driver promise is only available on Comprehensive cover policies.
Let Prudential know if you remained claim-free with your previous provider, and you could save up to 65% on your premium, or up to 70% if you are 50 or older. All you need to do is provide proof from your previous provider and Prudential will calculate the rest.
Receive up to £1,000 for the loss or damage to car audio and visual equipment. (If this forms part of the car specification and was fitted by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's approved dealer, then the amount is unlimited.)
In addition to your car stereo, this covers TVs, telephones and electronic navigation equipment, as long as they are a permanent fixture in the car.
All Prudential's Comprehensive policies cover windscreen damage, and if you need your windscreen fixed it won't affect your No Claims Discount. An excess of £75 is payable for replacements and £10 for repairs.
If you find it easier to spread the cost of your car insurance over the duration of the policy Prudential provide a monthly payments option (subject to status). Prudential also offer an annual payment option if you wish to pay your premium in one go.
Both options are available online, or when you call them on 0800 300 300. Lines are open 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday.
